The Red Bull Ring is located in Spielberg, Austria (which to many racing enthusiasts is better known as the historic Österreichring).

The Österreichring is well known because the Formula One Austrian Grand Prix was based there for 18 years in a row. Dietrich Mateschitz (who started Red Bull and still owns 49 percent of the company) purchased, renamed and reopened it in May of 2011. A round of the DTM was held there in the same year.
